Elizabeth Finnerty Obituary
Toms River
Elizabeth C. Finnerty (nee Kish), of Toms River, died Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012, at home, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Philadelphia, Betty graduated from John W. Hallahan Catholic High School. She was a statistical clerk with the Army Electronics Command in Philadelphia before her marriage. She moved to NJ in 1973 with her husband, Donald, where she was a daily communicant at St. Johns R.C. Church, Lakehurst.
Survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Donald J. of Toms River; sisters, Margaret and Doris; many nieces and grandnieces, nephews and grandnephews.
Calling will be from 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 27 until the Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. in Notre Dame DeLords Catholic Church, Michigan Ave. & Fairview Road, Swarthmore, Pa. Relatives & friends are invited to attend. Interment in Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, mass cards would be appreciated. Condolences: jnelsonrigbyfh.com.
