Ellen Semler, 47, of Keansburg, passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at Bayshore Hospital in Holmdel. She was born Ellen French on August 7, 1968 in Staten Island, NY, where she grew up. In 1999, she and her husband, Ronald J. Semler, Sr., and their children relocated to Keansburg, NJ.

She was predeceased by her father, Thomas French and her brother, Michael French. Ellen is survived by her beloved husband, Ronald J. Semler, Sr., her loving children, Jake and Kevin Selmer of Keansburg, her step children Ronald, Jr. and Nicholas Semler, her loving mother, Janet (Smith) French. Ellen is also survived by her dear siblings, Thomas French and his wife Lauren, Kevin French and his wife Debbie, Kathleen McNamara and her husband Kevin, Patricia Henry and Maureen Frank and her husband, John. She also survived many loving nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, March 3, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm and Friday morning, March 4, 2016 from 10 to 10:45am, at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 3269 State Route 35 North, Hazlet, NJ 07730. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday morning, March 4, at 11:30am at the Catholic Church of St. Ann, 311 Carr Avenue, Keansburg.
