Emily Johnson Obituary
AGE: 83 • Neptune
Emily H. Johnson, 83, of Neptune, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Aug. 9, 2014 at home. She was born in Elizabeth City, NC. Emily was a Social Service Coordinator for Head Start for over 30 years. She was a faithful member of Second Baptist Church in Asbury Park. She was a member of many organizations. Emily leaves to cherish her sweet memories her beloved husband of over 50 years, Linwood Johnson; 1 son, Linwood Johnson II; 1 sister, Miriam Hoggard; 3 grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 16 until the funeral service at 10 a.m. from Second Baptist Church, 124 Atkins Ave., Asbury Park. Interment will be at Mount Prospect Cemetery. Jackson Funeral Home, Neptune, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
