Frank Santilli Obituary
AGE: 92 • Manville
Frank D. Santilli, Sr., 92, died peacefully on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville. Son of the late Bernard and Josephine Santilli, Frank was born in Hazleton, PA and lived most of his life in Manville. He worked in Floor Tiling for Johns Manville and worked as a stock clerk for Midland & Ross in Somerset where he retired in 1982. During his retirement he worked part-time for NJ Bell. Frank enjoyed fishing, especially, deep-sea fishing. He also enjoyed bowling, watching sports on television and was a very big Yankee's fan.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 62 years, Martha (Kassick) Santilli of Manville; sons, Frank D. Santilli, Jr. of Manville, Bernard Santilli of NJ; daughter, Joanne Steffon of FL; 6 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sisters, Betty Marion of NY, Bernice Mariano of PA and Yolanda Veet of PA.
Visiting hours will held 6-9 PM on Friday, August 17, 2012 at the Bridgewater Funeral Home, 707 East Main Street, Bridgewater, NJ 08807. Prayers will be said 8 AM from the funeral home on Saturday, August 18, 2012 followed by a 9 AM Mass of Christian Burial at Christ the King Church in Manville. Burial will follow 2PM at Our Lady of Grace Cemetery in Hazleton, PA.
