Gene was a cousin I knew as a teen-ager in New Jersey. He was a friendly chum and I always enjoyed his company. I haven't seen him or talked to him in about 55 years, but I always knew he would do good in life. I really liked him and am sorry to hear of his demise.

Gene was an amazing father, a devoted husband and a wonderful man. Everything I am is because of his love, his advice, his strength and life lessons. He is with my sister Hilary now, smiling and hugging her, knowing my mom and I are together and keeping each other safe. I love you Dad! We all miss you. xoxo Lisa (and Harry, Ozzy and Duchy)

Gene loved his family, he loved his job and he loved the martial arts. He truly was a positive influence to so many people for so many decades. The Karate school was his second family. He was like a father to the young students and a brother to the instructors. He was my friend. I will miss his advice, stories, humor and his smile. I will miss him greatly.
