Giovanna DeBenedetto Obituary
AGE: 92 • Spring Lake
Giovanna "Jennie" DeBenedetto, 92, of Spring Lake, entered into eternal rest on Friday, August 31, 2012. Born Giovanna Simonetta, Jennie married her true love, the late Ignatzio DeBenedetto, with whom she had one daughter, Constance. She is predeceased by her son-in-law, Michael T. Nolan Sr. Jennie spent her entire life in Brooklyn, where she worked for Adorable Children's Dresses for over 40 years. She was proud of her roots in Brooklyn, but was equally blessed with the love, support, and care she received when she moved to the Wexford Assisted Living in 2010. The family is forever grateful to the wonderful staff that took care of her.
Jennie leaves her daughter Connie Nolan, of Spring Lake; as well as her sister Beatrice Fazio of Brooklyn; grandchildren Michael and Gabrielle Nolan of Wall and Kerry and Jonathan Michaelson of Middletown; and great grandchildren Alexandra, Michael, Emily, Abigail, and Morgan.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Elizabeth's Church in Avon on Thursday, September 6th at 10am. Private burial will follow.
