Dr. Harold L. Olmstead III D.C., age 62, of Lafayette, NJ, passed away at home Monday, June 30, 2014 surrounded by family and friends. Harold received his education from Richard Stockton College of New Jersey (B.S.), the National College of Chiropractic (Doctorate of Chiropractic), and received his doctoral degree from the National University of Health Sciences (PhD in Health Sciences) and Stevens Institute of Technology (M.I.S.). Harold was a humanitarian and a gentle man and was loved by all who knew him. He will be greatly missed.

He was predeceased by his father, Harold Olmstead Jr., and his sister, Lisa Joy Olmstead. Beloved husband of Catherine Merolla Olmstead and devoted father to daughter, Jacqueline. He is also survived by mother, Edna Olmstead, Neptune, NJ; his brother, Carl (Cammie) Olmstead; sisters, Sandra Rodgers, JoAnne (Carmen) Juliano, Gail Delnegro; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a huge loving extended family.

Visitation will be held 2-4PM and 7-9PM on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at the Iliff-Ruggiero Funeral Home, #156 Main Street (Rt. 206), Newton, New Jersey. A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, July 3, 2014 at 10 am in the Christ Episcopal Church, #62 Main Street, Newton, New Jersey. Interment will immediately follow in the Frankford Plains Cemetery located at 100 Plains Rd., Augusta, New Jersey.
