Helen Gagliardi Obituary
She is survived by her husband, Dominick; two sons, Donald Johnson Jr. and Jeffery Johnson; and her daughter, Amy Mandra. She has three sisters, Anna Manall, Emily O'Hara, and Sandra Burnett; two grandchildren, Jaclyn and Andrew Johnson; and her great-grandson.
Visiting will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 30 at the Silverton Memorial Funeral Home, 2482 Church Road, Toms River. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 31 at the funeral home; arrive at 10:30 a.m. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Toms River. www.silvertonmemorial.com

13 years is a long time to miss someone. Somehow it still feels like yesterday you left us. I will admit it makes me feel alittle better knowing mommy is up there with you this year. There is a reunion I'd love to see. We'll we moved in with Tim because I'd have my own room and a bigger place to be, and I might be getting a better paying job, if the lady ever answers me that is. Crystal is now a sleep technologist! Can you believe that? She's doing alot better. Tiff is due with baby number 2 on February 16th , Elliot is doing amazing he just turned 2. Shelby twins are getting so big! They just turned one the other day, Ashley Sean and the girls are amazing Lesley and Brian and their girls are doing wonderful.! Mike and Sheena are great! Their kids are doing great too. Man you would love Sheena she's always cooking something, and she's got snappy comebacks too. Reminds me of you sometimes. Anyways give everyone hugs for me and tell mommy I miss her and I love her and I'm sorry I wasn't there when she left. I love you guys so much.

Well 2024 is here, many changes going on, Crystal has moved to south Carolina with me and mommy is now living with ness, she's still doing great. Elliot is doing amazing almost walking! Shelby just had her twins and they are beautiful! Please keep watching over us, the pain of you not being here will never go away, we just have to find different ways to deal with the hole in our lives. I miss you so very much. Sending you and everyone up there all my love as always. Can you do me a favor??please give little Dom and extra hug for me and tell him Crystal talks about him all the time. I love you. Love Helen

Another year gone by and I still cry when I see your picture. I'm sure you and uncle Dom are watching over us all..so much has happened over the years. Mommy is doing great, although I'm sure you know that cause she talks to you in her sleep. I'm also very sure you had a hand in making sure little Elliot made it to us healthy and happy so thank you for that! Say thank you to mommom and pop pop too and my dad if u see him up there. Sure is great to know we have so many angels up there, but I sure wish you were here with me. Maybe if u were it would be a little easier for me to know how I'm gonna get through things. Anyway I hope I'm making my God mom proud up there. I miss you, please give everyone hugs for me and yell them I miss them more then words. Life really hurts without you. I love you forever.

Miss you everyday even still today I cry when I see your picture! You would love to see how Maria Rose is growing up! She loves her middle name and collects things with roses .

Here we are 2022, it still hurts, your still not here, there's so much I wanna tell you. I miss you, me and Crystal talk bout you alot. I seen a lady with a cane the other day and she had a bootie on it, made me think of you. Please give uncle Dom our love we miss him terribly too. And if you found little Dom up there please tell him we love and miss him too. I love you

Dominick, Donny, Jeffrey, and Amy:
My deepest sympathies on your loss. My most vivid memories surrounding Aunt Helen are running around the backyard in Point Pleasant. I also clearly remember a birthday party for Donny; for whatever reason, I can specifically remember playing a game where we held clothes pins between our knees and had to walk to a an old, glass milk bottle and drop the pin in. I also remember family visits my mom and dad's house around the holidays.
I wish for you all the strength to weather the days ahead.

To Dominick, Donny, Jeffrey, and Amy:
I have some funny memories of Aunt Helen. When my sister Karen and I visited, it was usually for a few days. One time, the boys had gone to bed, and Aunt Helen spent hours styling our hair in curlers and in grown-up styles. I remember us all laughing hysterically at the results. It was at their home in Point Pleasant that I was tricked into eating an eel (it wasn't bad!) I loved hanging out with my little cousins, playing in the back yard during family gatherings. I haven't seen Aunt Helen in more than 30 years, but the memories are solid. May you find comfort in the memories of all of the good times with her and in knowing that she and Michael are together again.
