Condolences. Jack was always fun to be around. I drove 1990-95. He drove an old Honda Accord knowing that he could afford better.

I was saddened to learn that Jack VanCleef died. He often drove the school bus I rode to Hillsborough Schools. He was a fine gentleman and always managed to share a fun story with the lucky student that sat near the driver's seat. I will remember him with great fondness. With my deepest sympathy to the entire VanCleef family.

I never loved working for someone like I did love working for Jack Van Cleef...he was a hard but fair and funny man. He liked to eat tomato and mayonnaise sandwiches, never let my daughter leave without milk in her bottle when she was a baby and on several occasions preformed acts of kindness for us and denied even knowing about it. I loved him and he was a special old man....rest in piece, and give em hell..I know you'll be telling them how to run things the right way shortly. Scott and I will continue to enjoy our special Jack stories for the rest of our lives.

Our sympathy goes out to the entire family. Knowing him has been an honor and a pleasure, from his being our landlord in the little carriage house driving school buses and always lending a helping hand to those in need. God bless you Jack!
