To the McGrath Family:

I was so sorry to learn of your loss. As a young Postal Inspector learning the ropes in the early 70's, I was fortunate enough to have Jim as a role model. Watching him, helped me learn what a professional investigator as well as a good and decent human being should be. Jim impacted many people in a similiar way. May many warm and happy memories comfort you all.

Eileen, Jay & Family:
I worked with Jim in Newark between 1971 and 1975. He taught me a lot about being an investigator and being a man. He was a good man who lived a good life. My prayers are with you all.

Eileen, Bill and Family,
I was so sorry to hear of your father's passing. He was a great guy, lot of fun and very generous with his house in Pt. Pleasant. I have a lot of great memories from there. May the love of family and friend's get you through this time of sadness and grief. Remember the good times. Moira

I was sad to know that someone I really enjoyed talking to on my route has passed. I loved hearing the stories that Mr. McGrath would tell me about when he worked in Newark. It was something that I could enjoy, because I understand the job. Mr. McGrath will be miss by so many. Here is one last, great big hug, Mr. McGrath X. My thoughts and prayer to the whole family.....Sincerely, Corky(mail carrier)
