Janet Sciarappo

Janet (nee Waddell) Sciarappo, 79 of Wall passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune with her loving family by her side. Janet was born and raised in Neptune/Shark River Hills and graduated from Neptune High School. After high school she worked at Asbury Park Press as a secretary. It was there she met her husband of 46 years, Donald Sciarappo. Janet and her husband moved to Wall Township and it was there, they raised their family. After her children were grown Janet worked for almost 20 years for Wall Township in the Tax Assessor's Office. Janet was a selfless person always willing to help anyone. She was a member of Pride of Wall Seniors, Wall Helps Its People, volunteered with Meals on Wheels, involved with CAPE when her children were in school and a soccer coach for Wall Recreation. After her husband's passing Janet moved to Four Seasons of Wall where she continued to be active in several groups like Women's Club and Singles Club of Four Seasons. She loved her friends and loved helping her neighbors.

Janet was predeceased by her beloved husband Donald Sciarappo in 2010 and her loving brother Raymond Waddell. She is survived by her loving children Jill Gifford and her husband Tom, Steve Sciarappo and his wife Jill both of Arizona and Donald Sciarappo and his wife Linda of Florida. Janet was also the cherished grandmother of Meghan, Jack, Shea, Sloan, Stella and Nikki. She also leaves behind a beloved brother Donald Wadell and his wife Lynn of Neptune, NJ. Janet will be missed by her dog, Jade.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 from 2-5 pm at Orender Family Home for Funerals 2643 Old Bridge Road Manasquan, NJ with a funeral service to begin at 4:30 pm. Entombment will be at St Catharine's Mausoleum, Sea Girt on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at 11 am.
