John "Jack" Caron

John "Jack" Caron, 79, of Lakewood, formerly of Belleville and Middletown, went home to "God's Pocket" surrounded by family on September 29, 2016 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank, NJ. Prior to retiring in 1993, Jack was employed by PSE&G for 39 years. He was a communicant of St. Mary of the Lake RC Church, Lakewood. He was a veteran of the US Army, serving during the Korean War and was a member of the Knights of Columbus, where he was named Grand Knight. He loved golfing, long walks, and taking road trips, but mostly spending time with his adoring family.

Jack was predeceased by his parents, Patrick & Doris, 2 sisters and their husbands, Ellen & Hughie Sweeney, and Joan & Don Robson. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, whom he worshipped, Patricia (Mallack); 3 loving daughters: Tracy Petrany, Kathy Mrotzek, Christie Fraser; sons-in-law: Joe Petrany & Mike Mrotzek; 3 sisters and their husbands: Margaret & Jack McDermott, Kathleen & Sean Gallagher, Doris & Paul Gross; 6 grandchildren: Brooke & Caity Petrany, Amanda & Matt Mrotzek, Jack & Braedyn Fraser.

A Memorial Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 4, 2016, from 4-8 pm at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, 115 Tindall Rd, Middletown. A Funeral Liturgy will be offered Wednesday, at 9:15 am at St. Catharine's RC Church, 108 Middletown Rd., Holmdel.
