John K. Ciak 51 of the Ortley Beach section of Toms River Township died on Saturday September 17, 2016 at Community Medical Center, Toms River, NJ. Born in Newark, NJ he lived in East Newark and was a longtime summer resident and avid Surfer before moving to Ortley Beach 34 years ago. John was self-employed working as a carpenter throughout New Jersey. Predeceased by his father Charles he is survived by his loving mother Florence nee Lutz. Two brothers Joseph of Ortley Beach and Karl and his wife Kathleen of Island Heights, NJ. A nephew Nathaniel and nieces Nora and Grace, and his dog Molly. Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing on Tuesday September 20, 2016 from 2pm until a Service at 4pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals 809 Central Ave Seaside Park, NJ.
