AGE: 71 • Millstone
Jack Gallagher, 71, of Millstone, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, November 12, 2014. Born in Bayonne he previously resided in Michigan and Indiana. Jack was a graduate of Bayonne High School and served his country in the U.S. Navy. In 1964 he joined NL Chemicals, Baker Castor Oil Division. Jack held various sales management positions in Chicago and Detroit before relocating to NJ with Rheox, now Elementis Specialties, before becoming VP of International Sales for Shamrock Technologies.
Jack was predeceased by his brother, Robert. Surviving are fiancée, Debbie Young; son, Tim; daughter, Elizabeth (Mike) Berry; grandchildren, Emma, Sean, Jack, Madeleine and Reese; brothers, Thomas (fiancée Joan Nowicky) and Lawrence (Irene); numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 2-6 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 16, at Freeman Funeral Home, 47 East Main Street, Freehold. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Monday at St. Joseph Parish Church, Millstone. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to Goodwill Rescue Mission, Newark/grmnewark.org. Visit www.freemanfuneralhomes.com for directions, condolences.
