John Glab Obituary
AGE: 81 • Wall
John L. Glab 81, of Wall, NJ died Sunday, December 14, 2014 at Care One at Wall. Born in South Belmar, NJ John was a lifelong resident of Wall Township. He served in the US Navy during the Korean War and was in the Navy CeeBees. John was a member of the Hanover Golf Club and the Dawn Patrol at Bel Aire Golf Club. He worked for the Township of Wall as sanitation and recycling Forman for many years until his retirement.
Surviving are his wife of 53 years; Cynthia F. Glab, his children; Deborah, Douglas, Susan and John, 2 brothers; Donald and Ronald. He also leaves his 8 grandchildren; Sandra, Kenny, Kelly, Justin, Jessica, Brandilyn, Matthew, Jacob and 2 great grandchildren; Vinnie and Olivia.
Visiting will be Wednesday, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the O'Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy 35 at New Bedford Rd., Wall. A funeral service will be held Thursday, 12:30 PM at the funeral home, followed by burial in Monmouth Memorial Park, Tinton Falls, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family c/o O'Brien Funeral Home to defray funeral costs. For more information or to send condolences please visit www.obrienfuneralhome.com.

I grew up with John. As grammar school classmates at West Belmar we lived just a few feet from each other. He was so kind when my Mom passed a way and helpful too. RIP John. My condolences to his whole family. Sincerely, Jackie Goslin Davin
