John Granaghan

AGE: 76 • Sayreville

John Granaghan, age 76 of Sayreville passed away Sunday, October 25, 2015 at St. Peter's University Hospital in New Brunswick. Born in New York City, he had resided in Sayreville for the past 46 years and Riverdale, Bronx prior to that. Before John's retirement he was self-employed with Direct Computer Associates as a Computer Consultant for companies such as HBO, Time Warner and many financial institutions. Mr. Granaghan was also a communicant of Our Lady of Victories Church.

He is predeceased by his parents John and Mary (Gilhooley) and his brother Patrick. Surviving are his beloved wife Dolores of 51 years, his children and their spouses John P. of Sayreville, Tom of Bridgewater, Edward & Theresa of Cream Ridge, and Debbie & Prinze Mack of Freehold; his sister Ann Best of Washington State; and his 6 grandchildren Ryan, Kayleigh, Liam, & Colin, and Sam & Sydney.

Funeral services will be held 8:45am Friday from the Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin with a 9:30am Mass at Our Lady of Victories RC Church. Burial will follow at New Calvary Cemetery in Parlin. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Thursday from 2pm to 4pm & 7pm to 9pm.
