John "Jack" W. Hilliard Sr.

AGE: 69 • Berkeley Township

John "Jack" W. Hilliard Sr. 69 of the Holiday City Carefree section of Berkeley Township. died on Friday January 24, 2014 at Community Medical Center, Toms River, NJ. Born in Elizabeth, NJ he was raised in Clark, NJ moving to Rahway and Manchester Township. before coming to Holiday City 5 years ago. Jack worked in production at Simmons Mattress in Elizabeth and Piscataway and then for Crossroads Realty in Ocean County as a handyman. He was a member of St Agnes RC Church, Clark, NJ and enjoyed spending time at the track. Predeceased by his loving wife Marie Hilliard and his grandson Shane Hilliard. He is survived by his son John W. Jr of Bayville, NJ. Daughter Colleen LaManna of Lakehurst, NJ. Brother Robert and his wife Alice of Woodbridge, NJ. Granddaughter Alyssa Hilliard of Bayville. His loving companion Anne Killian of Toms River and also his dog Fluffy. There will be a Memorial Gathering on Monday from 4-8pm with a service at 6:30pm at the Timothy E Ryan Home for Funerals 145 St Catherine Blvd Toms River, NJ. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Condolences may be sent by visiting www.ryanfuneralhome.com
