I remember when we would get together in John's garage to play and sing country music. We had much fun and joy in those days. The last time Ellie and I visited John we couldn't stay too long because we had scheduled a visit with "Ike" that evening. Little did we know that it was our last visit with John. John and Sue were the best and we had much fun and joy when we were together. Love you John, rest in the greatest of peach....

I met John when he was working at EAI. He met Sue there and John and Sue helped form many of my fondest memories. I got laid off at EAI and went to work for Raycom Industries. The company asked me to find them a technician and, since I was working part time for a personel company in Red Bank I wanted to get the best so I talked to John and he soon came to work for us. In time another company, Vitronics, was formed and John and I were still working for the same company. Then I went to work for the federal government and John worked as one of our contractors. So we spent many years working together. During those years we did a few memorable things together: Our two families took a road trip to Florida and had great fun stopping at Opry land and other places of interest. I remember driving through a place with many bird sanctuary and I got on the CB and said to John "this place is for the birds". A strange voice, with a beautiful southern acdent, cambe back "you don't have to come back ya all".
We took a trip to St. Luis and decided to go up the Arch. Sue was afraid of heights and sat in a park bench while John, Ellie (my wife) and I enjoyed the top of the arch.
Our boss had a picnic at his house and we just couldn't discipline our children. Sue suggested that we just trade kids. It worked great, their kids were food to us and ours were good to them.
We also belonged to the same square dance club and we danced to their teaching of country music.
Thank you, John and Sue Lippert, for the many memories and for the love our families shared. God bless your souls. We send our deepest sympathy to the family.

I was so sad to hear of John's passing. He was always such a ray of sunshine when he would stop into the Aspen office here, many times just to say Hello! I will always remember John as the positive person he was, with his sparkling blue eyes. John - you will be missed, but your memory will live on forever. My prayers and condolences go out to those you leave behind. Sincerely, Jennifer at Aspen

I was very sorry to hear of John's passing. My dad worked with John for many years, & they were very good friends. Our families even went on camping trips together when I was a kid (including a very memorable Road trip to Florida) The last time I saw John was in 2011, when he & his lovely wife Sue, attended my parent's 50th wedding anniversary. But he stayed in touch with our whole family on Facebook. Such a nice guy, who will be dearly missed. My thoughts & prayers go out to his family.

Our 1957 high school yearbook says John was
"tall, dark and very handsome" and that is how
I remember him. He was such a gentleman and
it is wonderful to read about his life filled with so
many achievements. My sincere sympathy to his family.
