John Walaszek Obituary

John S. Walaszek

Old Bridge - John S. Walaszek 87 passed away on 05/28/2021 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Brooklyn NY he was a resident of Old Bridge for the past 60 years. A US Air Force veteran, John spent his life working in the metal trades. He excelled fabricating copper and his work can be seen on many buildings and private residences throughout New Jersey. Predeceased by the love of his life Marianne they were Married for 47 years. Deeply Patriotic and Civic minded he coached Pop Warner Football for the Old Bridge Rams for over 20 years. He was a member of the Friendly Sons of the Shileighly of Old Bridge. "Pop Pop" loved the outdoors, either hunting or fishing in his younger years or working in his yard or looking for his golf ball in the woods.

He is survived by two sons, John (Mary) Jackson and Christopher (Kelly) Manchester. Four Grandsons(Chris, Matthew,Steven And John) and one Granddaughter(Deanna). He was also blessed with 2 Great Grandsons and 2 Great Granddaughters.

Interment services will be held Wed. June 9 at 11:30am at the NJ Veteran's Cemetery, Wrightstown. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmona Bolen Home for Funerals, 66 Lacey Rd., Whiting. Condolences can be sent to www.ca[email protected].
