Joseph Lee Gugliucciello, 90, of Greenwich Village, New York, passed away on November 18, 2014 in Harvey Cedars, NJ surrounded by his family. Joseph was born in Manhattan, New York to Henry and Virginia Gugliucciello on May 17, 1924. He worked for the New York City DSNY for 37 years. In addition, he served in World War II as a Navy SeaBee. He received two Asiatic Theatre Pacific Ribbons (the American Theatre Ribbon and the Victory Ribbon) and two Letters of Commendation.
Joseph is survived by his wife, Theresa M. Gugliucciello of Greenwich Village, NY; his sons Ronald of Somers, NY and Roger of Clifton, NJ; his daughter-in-laws Nancy Sue and Patricia; his grandchildren Joseph, Shane, TaraLee, Veronique and Bevin-Casey; great-grand daughter Adrianna; and caregivers Maria and Kelly.
Visitation will be held at Thomas L. Shinn Funeral Home, 10 Hilliard Drive, Manahawkin, NJ on Friday from 5-9pm. Funeral mass will be held at St. Thomas Church in Surf City on Long Beach Island, Saturday at 10:30am. Entombment will follow at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Condolences may be sent to www.shinnfuneralhome.com.

I always looked forward to when your parents came to visit us they always brought a smile to our faces and Pastries for our bellies.
