Joseph Karpinski Obituary
AGE: 85 • Manchester
Joseph C Karpinski, 85 of Manchester died suddenly Tuesday December 20, 2016 at home. He was born, raised and resided most of his life in Jersey City before moving to Manchester 15 years ago. He was very active in many of the Leisure Knoll Clubs. Joe always attended all the clubhouse dances and social activities. He enjoyed trips to Atlantic City & Vegas, crabbing and having breakfast every morning with his Breakfast Bunch at the Golden Arches. He served in the Air Force as a Sergeant from 1949-1952 and worked for Maxwell Coffee House in Hoboken for 35 years before retiring. He is predeceased by his wife, Bernadette in 2005, his parents, Stella and Joseph Karpinski, and Brother John Karpinski. Surviving are his Brother, Edward Karpinski of Miami, FL, sisters, Frances McMahon of Carteret, Teresa Kelly of Toms River and many nieces and nephews, great nieces & nephews and great, great nieces & nephews. Visitation is Monday 3-7 pm with a 6:30 pm service at Oliverie Funeral Home 2925 Ridgeway Rd Manchester. Entombment is Tuesday 11:45 AM at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. In lieu of flowers please make donations to St Jude's Research Hospital 501 St Jude's Place Memphis, TN 38101.
