Josephine Torrone Obituary
AGE: 98 • Barnegat
Josephine Torrone, 98 of Barnegat, passed away Friday, April 28, 2017 at Bartley Care Center, Jackson.
Born in Bayonne, she resided in Staten Island, Manalapan, and Florida before moving to Pheasant Run in Barnegat where she lived the past 26 years.
Josephine was predeceased by her beloved husband Joseph in March 2002, and her mother Helen Olsen. She is survived by her three sons Robert (Marion) of Sea Girt, George of Inverness, FL, and Joseph (Loreen) of Toms River; her sister Ellen Heister of Bayonne; four grandchildren - Susan Bowen, Phillip Torrone, Bryan and Allie Penczuk; two great grandchildren - David and Taylor Bowen; and great great granddaughter, Aubrey.
Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Wednesday, May 3rd from 4-8pm followed by a funeral service on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at 11am at the O'Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy. 35 at New Bedford Road, Wall. Private committal will be held in the NJ Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown, with Joseph.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 830 Broad Street, Suite 2, Shrewsbury, NJ 07782.

Jo will be so missed. I remember every time I was at her house she would get her daily phone call from her son that she looked forward to. I loved all of our kids so much & made them all special blankets and sweaters!
