JUNE LOUISE YOUMANS FOGED
AGE: 82 SHARK RIVER HILLS
June Louise Youmans Foged, 82, of Shark River Hills, Neptune Township died Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at King Manor Care Center, Neptune. She was born in Long Branch and grew up in Oakhurst, Ocean Township and lived in Neptune City moving to Shark River Hills in 1955. She loved horses and doing crossword puzzles, she was a volunteer at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune with 500 hours of service. Mrs. Foged was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
She was predeceased by her husband, Paul M. Foged in 1996 and her parents, Lester and Louise Youmans. Surviving are her son, Paul Foged of Neptune City; daughter, Diane Thompson of Cheyenne, WY; brother, Lester Youmans of Red Bank and sister, Shirley and her husband John Brodeur of Jackson Heights, NY; two granddaughters, Jessie and her husband David Everett and Kristin and her husband Michael Gambino and two great-granddaughters, Angelina and Brianna.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 2 to 6 p.m. Friday, May 22, at the Fiore Funeral Home, 236 Monmouth Road, Ocean Township. Funeral Service 10 a.m. Saturday, May 23, at the funeral home followed by burial at Wayside Methodist Church Cemetery, Wayside. Condolences may be emailed to [email protected] and will be received by the family.

Although I only met her once (at my son's wedding), I was impressed with Mrs. Foged's spirit and intelligence. I know she will be deeply missed!

I remember making mud pies with Jessie in the back yard. The family BBQ's under the car port and Lady joining the family there.Grandma, we will miss you.
