KELLY ANNE BURNS
AGE: 28 COLONIA
Kelly Anne Burns, 28, of Colonia, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2009, at JFK Medical Center, Edison. Born in Elizabeth, she lived in Colonia for the past 15 years. Miss Burns was a legal aid for Cavanaugh Associates in Clark.
She was the beloved daughter of David Burns of Monroe Township, and Joanne (Chiginsky) Burns of Colonia; devoted mother of Hope Catherine Clemens of Colonia and her father Michael Clemens of Parlin; loving sister of Christopher Burns of Colonia, Fred and Loren Lutz of Monroe Township, and Ashley Spitzer of Sayreville; and dear granddaughter of Agnes Chiginsky of Hazlet and the late Joseph, Muriel Burns of Cranford and the late Robert.
Visiting will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18 at the Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home, 2124 E. St. George Ave., Linden, at Elizabeth city line. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 19 at the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will follow at 9:30 a.m. at St. Michael R.C. Church, Elizabeth. Interment will be in St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia. Send online condolences to www.krowickfuneralhome.com.

I'm so sad to hear this news. I knew Kelly since high school. She was a family friend who made a great impact on me. I always thought of her as a wonderful, sincere person and it's sad that God took her away so soon. My heart goes out to her family.

I am so sorry for your loss. I know kelly from St. John Vianny my daughter olivia and Hope were BBF in school and I just ran into her a few months ago and said she was moving back to colonia . R.I.P Kelly

our daughter went to school with Kelly Anne. she was one of the nicest friends our daughter had in middle school & high school. our family has so many fond memories of her. we will all miss her deeply & will never forget her. i know she is watching over her family from Heaven, especially little Hope.

I haven't seen Kelly Anne since high school and It doesn't seem fare to have to say goodbye to someone as beautiful as Kelly. She was a mother, a daughter, a sister, and my friend. Kelly was a co-worker of mine for 2 years and she was always so much fun and a delight to be around. She could put a smile on my face no matter how bad of a day I had. My prayers are with the entire family and especially Hope. May she forever remember how much her mother loved her. We will miss you Kelly Anne, you're an angel now.

Kelly lived in the community I work in and live in. She actually saved my daughters life. My 2 year old daughter fell face first into our community pool and Kelly grabbed her out before the lifeguard even got into the pool. I'll always cherish her. I will miss her dearly. Her daughter Hope is just the sweetest little girl and always ran to me to give me a hug when she saw me or my daughter.
