Kyle Surrette Obituary
Wall Township - Kyle Surrette 44, formerly of Wall Township, slipped quietly into eternity early Sunday morning March 7th, while he slept. He was the youngest child born to John and Sharon Surrette, July 11, 1976. Immensely talented and blessed, Kyle had a sharp mind and a quick wit. He loved playing guitar, jam sessions with his niece and nephew, hiking and camping, acting in Shakespeare in the Park, serving meals at the Elks Lodge, and reading American History. Kyle is survived by his brother Steve, sister-in-law Judy, and their children, Etienne and Juliann. He is predeceased by his mom and dad, brother Kevin, and sister Danielle. Kyle's laughter may be silenced, and his generous heart stilled, but his rich legacy will endure in the hearts of those who loved him dearly. Arrangements will be private with his final resting place alongside those who went before at Monmouth Memorial Park.

Kyle, I’m deeply saddened by the news of your passing. You were a great influence on a young and impressionable musical mind. I’ll treasure the concerts we went to and fireside talks we had, always. You also were friend and brother to me when I needed. You had a wonderful gift of truly listening, and passing wisdom not judgment. One lesson you taught me was from a Native American prayer, “When you were born, you cried and the world rejoiced. Live your life in such a way that when you die, the world cries and you rejoice.” Now it’s your turn to rejoice Kyle. Rest In Peace my brother.

Kyle, I am deeply saddened by the news of your passing. You were a great influence on an impressionable, young musical mind. And I’ll never forget the lessons you taught me, or the moments you took the time to really listen to what I had to say. Kyle, you were a classmate, teammate, and bandmate. You had a free spirit and fun charm. Saw you last a few years ago at the parade. You were the same, as you always were. Sad your journey here ended so soon. This world will miss you.

I went to school with Kyle and am so saddened to learn of his passing. He was always such a kind and gentle soul - and one heck of a soccer player! My heartfelt sympathies to the family for this tremendous loss.
