Linda Pellegrino

AGE: 63 • Shickshinny, PA

Linda M. Pellegrino, 63, of Shickshinny, PA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 10, 2013 at her home while surrounded by loved ones. Born in Red Bank, NJ, she grew up in Middletown, NJ graduating from Middletown High School in 1967 and thereafter attended Monmouth College. After marrying her high school sweetheart in 1969, she lived in Barnegat and Lanoka Harbor before moving to PA. She worked as a restaurant manager for the Pleasant Valley Inn in Holmdel, Copper Kettle in Red Bank, and Jersey Girl and Redheads in Eatontown, for many years. Linda loved to travel to England, collect antiques, and go to flea markets as her favorite pastime was shopping.

She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Roy Pellegrino; her mother, Martha Schoenfelder; brothers, Eric and Richard Schoenfelder; brother-in-law, Anthony Pellegrino; brother-in-law, Dr. George Pellegrino and his wife, Cindy; sister-in-law, Terry Baker and her husband Lee; sister-in-law, Joy Santillo and her husband Steve; father-in-law Antonio Pellegrino, as well as 7 nieces and nephews and 7 great-nieces and nephews. Linda was preceded in death by her father, Kurt Schoenfelder as well as her brother, Kurt Schoenfelder.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 17, 2013 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, 115 Tindall Road, Middletown. A Christian Service is scheduled for Monday, March 18, 2013 at 11 am at the Atlantic Highlands United Methodist Church, Third & E. Garfield Ave., Atlantic Highlands. Cremation will be private.
