Louis Moore

AGE: 75 • Freehold

Louis Moore, age 75, died at home Freehold, NJ on Friday, December 25, 2015. Born December 3, 1940, in Sparta, GA, he lived in Sparta, GA for many years before settling down over 42 years in Freehold, New Jersey. He worked for Manalapan Township for more than twenty-one year's in the highway department. Louis was a member, trustee, and usher of New Hope Baptist Church Freehold, NJ and a dedicated long time members of the Prince Hall Masonic Organization.

Survivors include his longtime companion, Rosemary Moore, daughters Sylvia (Perry) Marshall of Milledgeville, GA, Michelle Moore of Conyers, GA, Stacy Moore of Atlanta, GA; stepdaughter Loretta Jones, and god daughter Niecy of NJ; one brother, six sisters, three grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a host of nieces and nephews as well as his best friend William Hollins.

A viewing will be held from 10:00 A.M. 11:30 A.M. Thursday, December 31, 2015, at New Hope Baptist Church, Freehold, NJ.3 Fraternal services will begin at 11:30 A.M. immediately followed by the service at noon. Interment will be at Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold, NJ. Childs Funeral Home, Red Bank, is in charge of arrangements.

I heard someone call my name Louis Louis (Pumpkin)who is calling me I am tired. This I know my child this is your creator. I see the work you have done and the many lives you have touched. You are weak and your body is worn. It is time to go from this world and begin a new life in a place where you will never grow tired and your body will never be worn. How can I leave oh Father I have so many that depend on me and will miss me. I wil give them strength and the memories of you will bring them smiles through their tears. They will tell your grandchldren and great grand children and their children of the kind hearted man with the big smile and the sprakling eyes so your legacy will live on.
