Ludmilla Kukuvka Obituary
AGE: 88 • formerly of Toms River
Ludmilla Helen (Druther) Kukuvka, 88, formerly of Mayfield, Pennsylvania, died Saturday, April 22 in Chatham, New Jersey. She lived in Toms River from 1988 until moving to northern New Jersey; prior to residing in Toms River, Ludmilla lived in Lake Hopatcong, New Jersey for nearly 30 years. Born November 2, 1928 in Mayfield, she was the daughter of the late Andrew P. and Helen E. Gellak Druther. At retirement, she was an associate at Good Friend Electric and with the Zev and Fran Rosen Family, both in Toms River. Ludmilla was a communicant of St. Barnabas Catholic Church, Bayville, New Jersey and survived by three children: Mark A. Kufka, Falls Church, Virginia, David R. Kukuvka, Pompton Plains, New Jersey and Barbara Ann K. Herda, Dover, New Jersey; seven grandchildren, two nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. The funeral will be Saturday, April 29 from the Louis M. Margotta Funeral Home, Jessup, Pennsylvania with visitation starting at 9:00 a.m. followed by 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Queen of Angels Parish at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Jessup. Interment will be with her parents and sisters at Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Cemetery at Finch Hill, Carbondale, Pennsylvania. The family requests and would appreciate memorial contributions to Alzheimer's Association, Arthritis Foundation or Sisters of Saints Cyril and Methodius, Danville, Pennsylvania.
