Margaret Kenney

Margaret Kenney, 82, previously of Old Bridge, passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. She worked for the Old Bridge Township Municipal Utilities Authority as an office manager for 25 years before her retirement. She was born in Jersey City and lived in Old Bridge for more than 50 years. She was a communicant of St. Ambrose Church, Old Bridge, as well as a member of the St. Ambrose Senior Group.

She leaves behind her husband of 60 years, Robert Kenney Sr.; daughter and son-in-law, Maureen Kenney and Terry Smith, and grandsons, Jeremy and Connor Smith; daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Scott Meidlinger, and granddaughter, Emily; son and daughter-in-law, Robert Kenney Jr. and Mindy Kenney, and granddaughter, Kimberly; a brother and sister-in-law, George and Cheryl Lahmann; a sister and brother-in-law, Mary and John Jablonski; and sisters, Alice Folger and Helen Howarter.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 21, 2011 from 7-9 p.m. and Friday, July 22, 2011 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the Old Bridge Funeral Home, 2350 Route 516, Old Bridge, NJ. A funeral mass will take place on Saturday, July 23, 2011 at 10 a.m. at St. Ambrose Church, followed by entombment in Holy Cross Cemetery, East Brunswick, NJ.
