Maria Vitale Obituary
Matawan - Maria Sara Vitale eighty-seven years old from Matawan, New Jersey died on August 13, 2021, at her home after losing her battle with cancer. Born in Jersey City on November 28, 1933, to Anthony and Constance Vitale. She was predeceased by her daughter Lori Leonard. She is survived by her longtime companion Dale Tully, her daughters Theresa Leonard, Lisa Barker and Lorraine Leonard. Her grandchildren Richard, Rollo, Troy, Alexander and her great-grandchildren Dominick, Kyla, Benjamin, Noelle, and Richard Jr. She leaves behind her sister and best friend Joanna Peevers and her husband Bill and her three nieces Linda, Karen, and Cindy. She formally volunteered her time at the Ladies Auxiliary where she had many friends. She was devoted to her family and will be missed.
