Marie Anne Orlacchio, 83, of Ocean Grove, peacefully departed this world to her eternal resting place with God on Saturday, September 2, 2017. Marie was born on October 14, 1933 and was the loving daughter of Peter and Mary Ann LaMonte. She was a graduate of Long Branch H.S., Class of 1951. Marie was formerly married to Dr. William A. Orlacchio and previously lived in W. Long Branch, where she devoted her life to being a homemaker and raising her children, lovingly opening her heart and home to family and friends alike. Not only was she an amazing mom, she also immensely enjoyed being a grandmother and great-grandmother and shared her love of art, music, and God's creation with them. Marie was deeply committed to her relationship with Jesus Christ as a member of Colts Neck Community Church. She will be tremendously missed by all that knew her and be remembered most for her kind and loving spirit.

She was predeceased by her parents, Peter and Mary Ann (Conti) LaMonte, her brother, Richard LaMonte, and her sister-in-law, Ann LaMonte. Marie is survived by her loving children, Gary Orlacchio, Gregory Orlacchio, Donna Mitchell and her husband, Scott, and William Orlacchio and his wife, Paula. She is also survived by two dear sisters, Angela Jeandron and her husband, Jack, and Dianne Welch and her husband, Howard, her 10 cherished grandchildren, Megan Gray (husband Brian), Adam Mitchell (wife Sarah), Isabela Joseph (husband Sam), Jessie Mitchell, and Nicholas, Emily, Gavin, Jarod, Max, and Mason Orlacchio, and 8 adored great-grandchildren, Nathaniel Gray, Jeremiah Joseph, Benjamin Gray, Valentina Joseph, Ellie Gray, Adam Mitchell, Emilio Joseph, and Sadie Mitchell.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Sunday, September 10th from 2 to 6 PM, with a tribute service beginning at approx. 5 PM, and Monday, September 11th from 10 to 10:45 AM at the Shore Point Funeral Home 3269 State Hwy/Rt 35 N, Hazlet. A funeral service will be offered at the funeral home on Monday morning at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow Mt. Carmel Cemetery, W. Long Branch.
