Michael Arbolino Obituary
Colts Neck - Michael J. Arbolino, 62, Colts Neck, passed away suddenly on Monday, July 16th at Riverview Medical Center.
Michael was born in the Bronx, NY, and lived in Edison, Millstone and Atlantic Highlands before moving to Colts Neck 15 years ago. He graduated from St. John's University in 1977. Michael was an active parishioner of St. Mary's RC Church, Colts Neck.
Michael was a realtor with Gloria Nilson, Holmdel. Prior to becoming a realtor, he was a Foreign Exchange Broker. He was a member of the Monmouth Pickle Ball Club where he enjoyed his favorite hobby playing Pickle ball. A consummate professional and a true people person; loved by all.
Michael is survived by his daughter Rebecca, Colts Neck, his sister & brother-in-law Linda & Brian Kelly, his niece Stephanie and nephews Chris, Danny and Alex of South Plainfield and brother Steven of Staten Island.
Visitation Sunday, July 22nd, 3:00 - 7:00 pm at the Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel. Mass of Christian Burial Monday, July 23rd 10:00 am at St. Mary's RC Church, One Phalanx Road, Colts Neck. Private interment to follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Staten Island.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association.

The time goes by and the memories linger. In a few short weeks it will be seven years since Mike's passing. It seems like he could be walking through my door at any time. We can all just think of our time with Mike and how we enjoyed it. I think of him and the appreciation he gave me for music. One of his favorites from the world of music was Billy Joel who wrote many a great song. The most poignant being Only the Good Die Young, which sums up Mike in one sentence. I am sad we will not grow old together.

Mike was a great guy who I worked with in FX. He was instrumental in me getting sober as well as me becoming a realtor. I am shocked to hear of his passing and I mourn his passing.

I remember meeting him on the Pickleball Court. He was very good and I was not. He welcomed me with a smile and lots of patience. He taught me what he could, and always made me feel okay that I was working my way up the skill level. Such a nice guy, always a smile on his face. I saw him last Friday and spoke with him, welcoming him back. Still the smile, still the grace. Michael will be sadly missed. I feel honered that our paths crossed. You can know someone for 5 minutes or 10 years and they can still have the ability to make a difference. Michael was that kind of person. R.I.P.
