AGE: 18 • Manahawkin
Michael John DiBernardo, 18, of Manahawkin, died peacefully on Friday, April 18, 2014, with his family by his side. "Mikey" was an accomplished drummer, a special friend to all, and most of all a loving son, brother, and grandson. "Mikey" touched the lives of anyone who knew him. He is survived by his father, Bill DiBernardo, and mother, Janet Fox-DiBernardo of Manahawkin; his sister, Melissa DiBernardo-Baus of Bernardsville; and his grandparents, Lois and Warren Fox of Loveladies, and all of his band brothers.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia Foundation (CHOP) at Lockbox # 1352 PO Box 8500 Philadelphia PA. 19178.
A memorial service will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 26, 2014, with a service at 4 p.m. at the Thos L. Shinn Funeral Home, 10 Hillard Drive, Manahawkin. Condolences may be sent to shinnfuneralhome.com.

I send my deepest condolences. Mikey was an amazing person, an outstanding drummer and a great friend. He is truley a special person and will be missed by many. I had the plessure of recording with mikey and his band and he was the easiest person I ever worked with. I'm never going to forget him. God bless!

We were so sad to hear of Mikey's passing. All he wanted to do was play his drums and make music. I saw him a few times at Woodies and on the beach with Robert. Such a fun loving guy. God Bless him and your family. Are hearts are heavy with such a loss.
