MILDRED A. COLBERT
AGE: 88 LONG BRANCH
Mildred A. Colbert, 88, of Long Branch, died Monday, Sept. 7, 2009, at home. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Second Baptist Church, Long Branch. She was affiliated with the Aslan Youth Ministry in Red Bank. She was born in Long Branch.
She was predeceased by her husband, Milton E. "Pete" Colbert, in 1996. Surviving are 14 children, Irving, Milton, George, Melvin, Ernest, John, Frederick, Linda, Jean, Joan, Evelyn, Betty Ann, Marilyn, and Lorraine; two sisters, Myrtle Watson and Mary Frances Farmer; 69 grandchildren; 85 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 18 until the funeral at noon from Second Baptist Church, 93 Liberty St., Long Branch. Interment will be in White Ridge Cemetery, Eatontown. Jackson Funeral Home, Asbury Park, is in charge of arrangements. Jacksonfuneralhomeinc.com.
