Morris Meiterman Obituary

Morris Meiterman

Marlboro - Morris Meiterman, a holocaust survivor, passed away on May 1, 2018 at 84 years old. Born on March 8, 1934 in Lubomel, Poland, he was a survivor of the holocaust in the ghettos, as well as with the partisans. He lived a full life sharing his stories and imparting his wisdom about Judaism and family tradition with those he connected with. While living in Marlboro, New Jersey, he built a life for his family and a legacy in the custom home building industry.

Predeceased by the love of his life and wife of 50 years, Judy, they lived a full life together. He is survived by his two sons, Steven and Bernard, daughter-in-laws, Leah and Gloria, and grand children Michael, Gabriella, Mark and Monica. His stories will continue to be told from one proud generation to the next.

Services were held at Sons of Israel Holocaust Memorial at 10:00 a.m. on May 2, 2018 at 613 Ramsey Street, Lakewood, NJ. Shiva was held at 5 Champions Way Manalapan, NJ immediately following the funeral services.

Shiva will continue on May 3 and 4 from 12-9 p.m. at 1530 Palisades Avenue, The Colony Apartments, Apartment 27P, Fort Lee, NJ.
