Nicholas Di Lieto

AGE: 92 • Edison

Nicholas Di Lieto, 92, died at home on Tuesday, March 17th. Born in Bronx, NY he was a longtime resident of Edison. He faithfully served his country with the United States Coast Guard during World War II. Prior to retirement he was a supervisor at the Fedder Airconditioning Company.

He is survived by his loving wife Gloria; his son Nicholas Di Lieto II and wife Catherine of Edison; his daughters Karen Bannister and husband William of Edison, Dawn Cuddy and husband Robert of Somerset; brother George M. Di Lieto; grandchildren Victoria Malinowski, William Bannister Jr., Robert Cuddy Jr., Elizabeth Cuddy, Nicholas Di Lieto III, Antoinette Bannister, Matthew Di Lieto; 6 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his granddaughter Catherine Gaul.

Funeral services will take place Friday, March 20th at 9 am from the Boylan Funeral Home, 10 Wooding Ave. in Edison followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 9:30 am at St. Matthew's R.C. Church in Edison with burial at Resurrection Cemetery in Piscataway. Family and friends may pay their respects at the funeral home on Thursday, March 19th from 5pm - 8pm.
