AGE: 51 • Long Branch
Orlando Aponte, 51 of Long Branch and Glen Burnie, MD passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 28,2017 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center, Glen Burnie, MD. Born in Long Branch he lived most of his life in the shore area moving to Maryland several years ago. Orlando was a self employed cabinet maker. He enjoyed volunteering at the VFW, Post 2140, Long Branch.
He was predeceased by his father Raul Aponte . He is survived by his girlfriend Connie McClendon with whom he lived and their son Elijah. Also surviving is his mother, Tomasa Rivera Aponte, Long Branch, brothers; Raul Aponte, Long Branch & Lizaldo Aponte, Hawaii, sisters ; Sonia Aponte, Hawaii & Diana Marie Aponte, Newark, Delaware. Nieces and nephews, Giovanni, Gianna, Joshua, Sean and Jacob.
Visitation will be at the Hoffman Funeral Home, 415 Broadway, Long Branch on Friday, March 3rd from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 am , March 4, 2017 at Our Lady Star of The Sea, of Christ The King Parish, Long Branch. Interment will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, West Long Branch.
