An amazing talent, that touched this world with his love and gave us laughter. He left this too early. Still, he left this world better for being a part of it!

Otto was a true original, who came a long way since the days when I first saw him working as a street performer engaging passersby on the corner of 46th & Broadway in NYC back in the 1970s.
RIP Otto...you were definitely one-of-a-kind!

I get The NY Times news emails daily, and Otto was one of two profiled in the obits, which I think would've made him proud, although it came much too early. I remember watching one of his Youtubes and thinking, he's not really much of a vent act, he can't tell a joke, and then I realized that, of course, George was Otto, and that was how clever he was, you came to think that the dummy was real. Truly one of the greats.

Rest In Peace, Otto. You were one of the funniest people on stage, and a humble, kind person off stage. You will be missed. My deepest condolences to his family and friends.

I've been watching otto perform for over 20 years.
I am deeply saddened to hear of his passing.
I feel like I've actually lost a close friend, although we weren't really friends.
I was fortunate enough to sit and talk with him on multiple occasions before and after his show's having a drink together and sharing a laugh
He touched many lives and will truly be missed
So sorry for your loss
