AGE: 89 • Toms River
Patsy Sacchitello, 89 years old passed away October 28, 2016 at home in Toms River. Patsy was born in Bronx, NY and resided in NYC, Lyndhurst, and Brick before moving to Toms River in 1991.
Patsy was a Navy Veteran serving during World War II, he was a Freight Conductor for Penn Railroad in Jersey City. He was a communicant of St. Luke's RC Church, Toms River, member of the Greenbriar Woodlands VFW and Singles Club, the American Legion Post#129, Toms River, National DAV and the Girls Watcher Club since 1944.
Patsy was predeceased by his wife Lucille in 2004 and his son Donald in 2015.
Surviving are his daughter Christine Hamill and her husband Lawrence and his son Carmine and his fiancée Dawn, his beloved grandchildren Dennis and his wife Kerrie, Jaclyn and her husband Richard, Tony and his wife Amanda, Joseph and Anthony. Also surviving are his great grandchildren Sydnie, Emma-Lee, Abby Rose. His brother Carmine and sisters Clara, Carmella and Sylvia.
Visiting will be Tuesday 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the Silverton Memorial Funeral Home 2482 Church Rd., Toms River. A Mass of a Christian Burial will be Wednesday 10:30am at St. Luke's RC Church, Toms River arrive at the funeral home 9:30am. Interment will follow at Ocean County Memorial Park. www.silvertonmemorial.com.
