Peter S. Lazorchak

AGE: 70 • Westford, NY

Peter S. Lazorchak, 70, of Westford, NY passed peacefully on Thursday, April 10th surrounded by his beloved family. Peter was born in New York City on December 16th, 1943 to Peter & Erika Lazorchak (nee Helmers). He was raised on a small farm in Middletown, NJ, ultimately settling in the rural "Leatherstocking" region of NY. His work with the Times Journal in Cobleskill, NY made him an integral part of this special place. Peter was an avid outdoorsman; bird-watcher, gardener, and photographer. He had an incredible sense of humor and his greatest joy was time spent with his family.

Peter is survived by his three children; Lisa Laszlo, Sarah Hochberg, and Peter C. Lazorchak. He is also survived by his twin sister, Erika Nemeth, his brother, Michael Lazorchak, and 5 grandchildren.

Calling hours will be at Scott & Kedz Home for Funerals in Belford, N.J. Sunday from 4-6 pm and Monday at 10am, just prior to burial and committal service at Bayview Cemetery in Middletown. For directions or to send condolences, please visit www.scottkedzfuneral home.com
