AGE: 81 • Beach Haven Crest
Philip Joseph Lenza, age 81 of Beach Haven Crest, Long Beach Township, passed away on Thursday July 21, 2016 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Philip was born in Brooklyn, NY, and lived in West New York and Dumont, NJ prior to moving to Beach Haven Crest and Bradenton, FL. Mr. Lenza was a Logistics Manager for Lever Brother's Corporation, NY for 38 yrs, before retiring in 1991. He was a member and former usher of St. Francis of Assisi Parish, Brant Beach. Philip, a veteran of the US Army in Okinawa served his tour of duty as an MP. He is survived by his wife, Carole of 58 years, his daughter Tracey Rizza and her husband Joseph, and his son Scott Lenza. He is also survived by sister Marie Phillips and her husband Richard, two grandchildren Christopher and Taylor Rizza and many loving friends and family. A Visitation with family & friends will be held on Friday August 19, 2016 from 11 am until time of Memorial Mass at 12noon at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, 4700 Long Beach Boulevard, Brant Beach NJ 08008. A repast will follow at The Holiday Inn, Rt. 72, Manahawkin, from 2-5 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent in Philip's memory to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, 230 East Ohio Street, Suite 304, Chicago, IL 60611 or the American Heart Association, 1 Union Street, Suite 301, Robbinsville, NJ 08691. Bugbee-Riggs Funeral Home, Ship Bottom, NJ (609-494-2565) is in care of arrangements.

Carole & family; I'm sorry about Phil as you no Uncle Toby passed away and then Aunt Maria also died on August in 1014 what a shame he will be greatly missed
