Philip Louis Stoll Jr.

AGE: 66 • Howell

Philip Louis Stoll Jr., 66 of Howell, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2012, at Ocean Medical Center, Brick, with his family by his side. Philip was born June 27, 1945. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War as a missile technician. He was the owner and operator of Stoll's Auto Body, a Freehold family business, worked with Circus High Performance Race Cars as a specialty paint and body artist. Philip also worked for Woods Auto Body until his retirement. Philip enjoyed fishing, boating, art sketching and playing the guitar. He had a love for animals and nature.

Philip was predeceased by his parents, Philip and Mary Stoll. He is survived by his sister and her husband, Patricia and Anthony Tumminia of Spring Lake Heights; a niece, Leanne Tumminia; and many friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to call from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 15 at Orender Family Home for Funerals, 2643 Old Bridge Road, Manasquan. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Popcorn Zoo Park, 124 Evergreen Ave., Newark, NJ 07714. Phil and I had many laughs, sad times, good times...
Love of animals was a big thing and playing guitar of course.
Phil loved his solitude so he can relax without the stress of city life.
He was a great friend. We both lent each other our ears to listen to one anothers problems. Miss you buddy. RIP my friend.
