Priscilla Bajakian, age 76, passed away on January 23 at her home in Manchester, NJ. A native of Brooklyn, NY, she raised her family in River Vale, NJ where she lived for 27 years, before moving to the Renaissance Community in Manchester, NJ where she resided for the past 17 years. A devoted wife to Samuel (predeceased in 2011) for 43 years and sister to Patricia Cain (predeceased in 2009), she was the loving mother to a daughter and three sons; Suzanne of Englewood, Harry and his wife Susan of Wyckoff, Victor and his wife Gina of Oakland, and Michael and his wife Michelene of Tampa, FL. She is affectionately remembered by her nine grandchildren; Ava, Samson, Jessica, Daniel, Mary, Anna, Emma, Samuel and Rose.

Priscilla's first job was with Household Finance Inc. in New York, NY, before starting a family and then working in the healthcare industry as a Benefits Administrator for more than a combined 30 years at Pascack Valley Hospital in Westwood, NJ, and United Methodist Homes in Neptune, NJ. She is remembered as a hard working employee, a caring neighbor and a loyal friend, and she always had a place in her heart for the vulnerable and less fortunate. In retirement, she devoted her free time to helping others by volunteering as the Recording Secretary for the Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus Auxiliary for 4 years. She was an active member in her community and enjoyed spending time with friends playing Scrabble, cards, dominoes and bocce. She also enjoyed attending local concerts and theatre productions.

The family will receive visitors at the Silverton Memorial Funeral Home in Toms River, NJ on Sunday, January 29, from 3-7 PM followed by a funeral mass at St. John's Catholic Church in Lakehurst, NJ, on Monday, January 30, at 12:00 PM.
