RALPH V. DESANCTIS
AGE: 66 MARLBORO
Ralph V. DeSanctis, 66, of Marlboro Township, passed away Friday, Oct. 17, at Overlook Hospital in Summit. Born in Brooklyn, he lived on Long Island before moving to Morganville 24 years ago. Ralph was a horse trainer at both the Philadelphia Park Racetrack in Pennsylvania and Monmouth Park Racetrack in Oceanport.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Joyce; two daughters, Jaclyn and Christine DeSanctis; a brother, Carmine of Huntsville, Alabama; three sisters, Mary Covais of East Patchogue, Long Island, N.Y., and Laura Cavallo and Carol Ellinghaus, both of Farmingdale, Long Island, N.Y.; and a granddaughter, Emma Joy Harper.
Friends and family may call from 2 to 6 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home, followed by entombment at St. Gabriel's Mausoleum, Marlboro.
