Richard L. Marcickiewicz

AGE: 90 • Middletown

Richard L. Marcickiewicz, 90, of Middletown, passed away on Monday, July 20, 2015. He was born in the Bronx, NY to the late Anthony and Christina Marcickiewicz and grew up in Roslyn, Long Island before moving to Middletown 64 years ago. Richard proudly served in the Air Force during WWII. After his military service, he graduated from American University in Washington, DC before embarking on a long distinguished career with Hallmark Cards. Inc.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Martha (Zaremba) Marcickiewicz; his children, Richard L. Marcickiewicz, Esq. and his wife, Donna of Randolph; Ellen Marcickiewicz of Falls Church, VA; Paul Marcy of Red Bank, and Bob Marcickiewicz and his wife, Linda of Middletown and his four beloved grandchildren, Dennis, Ryan, Kristen and Robert. He is also survived by his loving sister, Wanda Marcickiewicz of Tinton Falls.

A memorial Mass will take place at 9:15 a.m. Friday, July 24, 2015 at St. Catharine's R.C. Church in Holmdel. All arrangements are private and under the direction of John E. Day Funeral Home 85 Riverside Ave., Red Bank. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Richard's memory to the St. Vincent de Paul Society at St. Catharine's R.C.
