Holgate - Robert Wayne Baker passed away peacefully at the age of 61 on May 2, 2021, surrounded by family, in the comfort of home. Son of the late Donna Baker, he is survived by his loving wife, Natalie; two children, daughter Samantha; son Anthony and wife Lisa; one grandson, Lucas; father William Baker; sister Suzette and husband Paul Midura; brother William and wife Cynthia Baker; brother John and wife Dawne Baker; sister Joan and husband Andrew Wilson; sister Catherine and husband Frank Colavita, many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Born on December 13, 1959, in Trenton, New Jersey, Robert also known as Bobby, was the third of six children to William and Donna Baker. By trade he was a successful carpenter, owned a successful remodeling company, Baker Builders in the Princeton area where he also built his home and raised his family. Bob loved spending summers in Long Beach Island and fishing in the Florida Keys. He had a passion for family and could be found in the garage making lures, playing with his dog Finn, or sharing a root beer with friends and giving endless advice. Captain Bob welcomed anyone aboard his boat the Hammerhead to fish, cruise, or help tow a boat. He was a wonderful son, husband, and father, he will remain forever in our hearts.

A Funeral Liturgy will be offered on Friday, May 14, 2021 at 11:00 am at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 4700 Long Beach Blvd., Brant Beach, NJ 08008. Arrangements are under the direction of Bugbee-Riggs Funeral Home, Ship Bottom.
