ROBERT CUJE SR.
AGE: 73 LONG BRANCH
Robert "Bob" Cuje Sr., 73, of Long Branch, passed away Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. Born in Red Bank, he had lived in Long Branch for 52 years. Bob was employed by N.J. Transit as a Building and Bridges Mechanic for 43 years, having retired in 2000.
He was predeceased by his parents, George and Leola; a son Robert, Jr.; brother, Leonard; half brother, Garfield Adams; and a half sister, Helen Mrosz. Bob is survived by his wife of 55 years, Barbara Erving Cuje; his daughter, Kathy and her husband Mark of Long Branch; two sons, Craig and his wife Denise of West Long Branch, and Joseph, at home. He is also survived by three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; his brothers, George of Rumson, James of Little Silver, and Walter and his wife Jeanne of Rumson; a sister, Margie Citarella and her husband Anthony of Middletown; and his half sister, Evelyn of Long Branch.
Visitation will be from 7 p.m. Friday, March 12 until a funeral service to begin at 8:30 p.m. at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave. (corner of Third Ave.), Long Branch. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Robert E. Cuje Sr. Fund, 100 Columbia Ave., Long Branch, NJ 07740. The family invites you to leave an online condolence at www.damianofuneralhome.com

Bob was one of those people you only come across a few times in your lifetime he was one of the great ones I missed Bob when he left NJT and will miss him again,My prayers are with you and your family.
