Robert Dashnaw Obituary
Hillside - Robert "BDash" Dashnaw, 59, of Hillside, passed away suddenly, on Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at Trinitas Hospital, Elizabeth.
Born in Denver, CO, he resided in Hillside for the last several years.
He was a self-employed Drafter/Designer.
Bobby was an avid sports fan. He loved watching the Jets, Mets, Devils, and Notre Dame.
He is predeceased by his father, Joseph Dashnaw (d.2003), and his daughter, Sarah Dashnaw (d.2020).
Surviving is his partner, Nancy Mondella of Hillside; his son, Brian Dashnaw of Orlando, FL; his mother Patricia Dashnaw of Metuchen; four sisters, Gloria Beckham of Metuchen, Christina Renzi of Levittown, PA, Rose Apolito and her husband, Fabio, of Freehold, and Rita Dashnaw of Metuchen; one granddaughter, Sophie Seiler; five nieces, two nephews, four grandnieces, and one grandnephew.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 7, 2021, at 10:15 am, at St. Francis Cathedral, Metuchen, followed by interment of cremains at Hillside Cemetery, Metuchen.
