Robert Giroux, 61, of Manchester passed away Monday, April 14, 2014. Robert was an independent insurance instructor owning and operating First Choice School of Insurance, Toms River. Born in Astoria, NY, he resided in San Diego, CA., and Toms River before moving to Manchester 3 years ago. Robert was a parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Seaside Heights.
Robert is survived by his loving wife, Eveann; 2 sons, Ian and Alex of Manchester; his daughter, Michelle Giroux Heckman and husband Brendan of Nashville, TN; his mother, Teresa Giroux of Bethpage, NY; his brother, Jerry of Colorado Springs, CO; 2 sisters, Tesa Cassidy and husband Edward of Merrick, NY, Kathy Paul and husband Robert of Bethpage, NY; 2 grandchildren, Van & Jax Heckman.
Memorial gathering 2-4pm Saturday, April 19, 2014 at DeGraff Lakehurst Funeral Home, 119 Union Ave., Lakehurst. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to his family to help offset medical expenses.
