Robert A. Gouley

AGE: 79 • Ocean Township

Robert A. Gouley, 79, of Ocean Twp., passed away Friday, March 8,2013, at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. He was born in Reedsport, Oregon. Robert was a Journalist, Writer, & Editor for several newspapers in CA. He was in the Air Force during the Korean War. He was predeceased by his wife, Jancie Gouley; and brother, Albert Gouley. Surviving are his extended family; lifelong friend, and loving companion, Ellen Gulick of Ocean Twp., Dan Gulick and wife Carolyn of Wanamassa, Katie Rudd and husband Doug of Wanamassa, Cynthia Famularo and Ruth Sadankas of Beachwood, Gale Soler of Red Bank, Barbara Soler of Red Bank, Frank Schureman of Lacey; two sons in CA; one daughter, Andrea Hayes of OR; and brother, Jack Gouley and wife Corky of OR. A Memorial will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 15, 2013, with a 6:30 p.m. service at the Francioni, Taylor & Lopez Funeral Home, 1200 10th and Atkins Ave., Neptune. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in his name to the Society of the Little Flower, 1313 North Frontage Road, Darien, IL 60561.
